Credible Mind - A free and confidential online platform that provides access to trusted mental health tools and resources. Users can take self-assessments, listen to podcasts, explore recommended apps and programs, save favorite resources, and track their progress over time. The platform covers over 200 topics, offering support for a wide range of mental health needs and interests. 

Genesee County Mental Health - The Genesee County Mental Health Department's mission is to assist county residents experiencing symptoms of mental illness in achieving and maintaining their highest level of functioning. 

Mental Health Association of Genesee & Orleans - The Mental Health Association of Genesee & Orleans Counties is a nonprofit organization proudly serving the surrounding communities since 1993. The MHA is one of 26 chapters affiliated with the Mental Health Association in New York State.  

American Psychiatric Association - Information for patients and families on common mental disorders and more. The American Psychiatric Association is the main professional organization of psychiatrists and trainee psychiatrists in the United States, and the largest psychiatric organization in the world. 

National Institute of Mental Health - The largest research organization in the world specializing in mental illness. The mission of NIMH is to "transform the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure." 

National Alliance on Mental Illness - The nation's largest grassroots mental health organization, dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

Alcoholics Anonymous - AA is a global, peer-led mutual aid fellowship dedicated to abstinence-based recovery from alcoholism.  AA emphasizes anonymity and recovery from alcoholism as its only purpose, is free to all, and has no governing hierarchy. 

SAMHSA - The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration leads public health and service delivery efforts that treat mental illness, prevent substance abuse and addiction, and provide treatments and supports to foster recovery while ensuring access and better outcomes for all. 

UConnectCare - UConnectCare Behavioral Health Services has served the residents of Western New York for over 50 years. Founded in 1975 as GCASA, their focus is on the prevention and treatment of substance use disorder. Since then, they have grown and expanded dramatically to include residential and detox recovery services. 

Horizon Health - Batavia Recovery Center - Horizon Health Services Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation providing hope and healing  for individuals and their families dealing with substance use and/or mental health disorders. Established in 1975, it is one of the largest providers of outpatient mental health and substance use treatment in Western New York. 

American Society of Addiction Medicine - ASAM is dedicated to increasing access and improving the quality of addiction treatment, educating physicians and the public, supporting research and prevention, and promoting the appropriate role of physicians in the care of patients with addiction. Community Action of Orleans & Genesee - Community Action is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and has served low-income and disadvantaged families for 40 years. Their mission is to provide services that help people become self-sufficient. 

City Church Food Pantry - If you or someone you know needs assistance with food, the City Church Food Pantry can help. Located at 15 Center Street in Batavia, the food pantry is open every Thursday and Saturday from 10:00am to 12:00pm. 

YWCA My Sister's Food Pantry - "The primary mission of My Sister's Food Pantry is to provide nutritious food for our Genesee County friends and neighbors in need of some extra support. As prices continue to rise, for many of us, even necessities such as food can become a challenge. Please do not struggle alone. Give us a call and we can help." 

Genesee County Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) - The SNAP program issues monthly benefits redeemable at authorized retail food stores. Eligibility and benefit levels are based on household size, income, assets, and other factors.
