Teen & Tween Events!

Teens & Tweens are welcome at the library!

Afterschool @ the Library

What can we do at the library?

  • Get a library card (have a photo ID with your address on it, or have your parent/guardian come in with their photo ID to get you a card). Juveniles must have a parent or guardian present to access computers.
  • Take part in Teen & Tween programming
  • If you have a library card, you can use the computers and check anything out.
  • Read and check out anything in the library or available digitally.
  • Play games, do crafts, or learn a new skill!
  • Suggest books, movies or other materials that you'd like the library to buy
  • Get your homework done!
  • We host a variety of programs and activities after school, and we welcome kiddos of all ages to join us!
  • Children ages 13 to 17 are considered independent users. Parents are responsible for the conduct of any child under the age of 18 whether they are in the company of that child or not.
  • Children ages 10-12 may attend library programs after-school (between the hours of 2:30 pm and 5 pm on school days) without an adult, but they must stay in the program for the full time and an adult parent/guardian/caregiver must pick them up immediately following the program or come into the library to supervise them.
  • For all information about kids in the library, see our Safe Child Policy
