George Rollie Adams will read from and discuss his award-winning novel South of Little Rock, a powerful story of race, family, and small town life in the Civil-Rights era South. Copies of the book will be available for check out at the library prior to the event and on sale at the event.

Mr. Adams is president and CEO emeritus at The Strong National Museum of Play and now a full-time author.  He is a native of southern Arkansas and a former teacher with graduate degrees in history and education. He and his wife live in the Finger Lakes region and have 3 daughters.
