Monthly Book Sale

The Friends of the Library Monthly Book Sale is always the first Thursday of the month, 9am-7pm.  Book sales are held in the Dorothy Wilber Memorial Room on the lower level of the library.  Elevator available.

Effective July 5, 2018, the use of price scanning devices and software will be allowed only during the hours of 4:00 - 6:30 pm at the Friends of the Library Monthly Book Sales, and never at quarterly Members Only preview sales.

Guidelines for Donations

We accept gently used, pre-loved books of all types for all ages.

We know how hard it is to throw away any book – we hate to do it too!  But books that come from the attic or basement that have not been stored properly will probably have issues.  Before bringing in your books, please check for any musty odors or mildew. 

While the library cannot use them, musty books can still contribute through recycling.  There is an Abitibi recycling bin in the parking lot that St. Joseph’s church shares with the library. 

We no longer accept:

  1. Textbooks
  2. Encyclopedias
  3. Magazines
2018 Art Shows

Located on the first floor, the Gallery hosts free month-long art shows throughout the year, viewable during normal library hours.
