Guidelines for Donations

We accept gently used, pre-loved books of all types for all ages.

We know how hard it is to throw away any book – we hate to do it too!  But books that come from the attic or basement that have not been stored properly will probably have issues.  Before bringing in your books, please check for any musty odors or mildew.

While the library cannot use them, musty books can still contribute through recycling.  There is an Abitibi recycling bin in the parking lot that St. Joseph’s church shares with the library.

We no longer accept:

  1. Textbooks
  2. Encyclopedias
  3. Magazines
