Richmond Memorial Library’s Annual Budget Vote/Trustee Election will be held in the Library’s Gallery Room on Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm.
Voters who reside within the Batavia City School District and who are registered to vote with the Genesee County Board of Elections are invited to vote for the 2026 Budget Vote & Library Trustee Election.

Richmond Memorial Library Trustee Position
Any qualified voter of the City School District of Batavia and a resident of the City School District for at least 1 year immediately preceding the date of the election (May 7, 2026) can run for one of two Richmond Memorial Library Board of Trustees seats. They are for 3 year terms which start July 1, 2026. Petitions for the positions can be picked up at the circulation desk. At least twenty-five (25) signatures are required from qualified voters of the School District. The petition must be turned in at the circulation desk between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on or before April 7, 2026.
Public Hearing- Tuesday, April 14 at 6 pm
A Public Hearing on the 2026-27 Richmond Memorial Library Budget will be held in the Richmond Memorial Library Gallery Room on Tuesday, April 14 at 6 pm.
