Richmond Memorial Library holds copies of most local newspapers on microfilm.  Paper and/or digital images are available.  Please contact the library for more information.

Batavia Daily News Index - an index to articles that appeared in the newspaper between 1878 and 1950. Copies of the "Daily News" are available at the Richmond Memorial Library.

Batavia Daily News Subject Index - this indexing was done by Ruth McEvoy, former historian for the city of Batavia, and covers the period from 1880 through the 1990s.

Spirit of the Times - 1830 through 1845 index to The Spirit of the Times newspaper, published in Batavia, New York.
