The SAGE Program at Richmond Memorial Library provides library services to homebound and resident senior citizens.
SAGE (Services to the Aging in Genesee County) is a program to provide library services to homebound and resident senior citizens in Genesee County and is funded by a grant from the Muriel H. Marshall Fund for the Aging.
Overseen by the Rochester Area Community Foundation, the fund is a bequest from the estate of Roxanne Marshall who named it in honor of her mother. Miss Marshall, a former school librarian, wanted to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens of Genesee County.
Seniors who are confined to their homes because of extended illness, physical disability, or transportation problems and who would like to enjoy the benefits that a library has to offer are eligible for the services of this program.
For more information on the program, either as a volunteer or recipient of services, please contact the Richmond Memorial Library at (585) 343-9550 or by e-mail
