Goal - Practice fiscal responsibility

Objective

  • Supplement tax revenues with alternative funding sources

Activities completed 2007
Applied for grant funding from various sources.
   Granats received from New York State, Rochester Foundation,
     Nioga Library System, Special Legislative Grant from
     Assemblyman Hawley.
Acknowledged gifts, donations, memorials in writing.
Supported Friends of the Library book sales.
Requested funding assistance from artist groups in
     Gallery renovation.

Worked with Friends of the Library on fundraising projects.
   Display case for Friends' merchandise/place on
     library webpage.
   Space study includes Friends bookstore.
Received grants from: New York State, Rochester Foundation,
     Nioga Library System, Special Legislative Grant from

Researched alternative funding for GRO program.

     bulletin board.
Pizza Hut fundraisers held.
Card catalogs sold. Books, prints auctioned.
GRO program continued with Friends of Library assistance.
